Thursday07:00 - 18:30 (7am to 8am pre-booked appointments only)
Friday08:00 - 18:30

Please note these are clinic times, the telephones will open at 8 am to 6 pm.

The appointments for our early start of 7.00am are pre-bookable only.

If you wish to have an early morning appointment then please telephone the surgery to book these appointments 2 weeks in advance.

Afternoon appointments for each day are bookable from 11am

Why do we open appointments at 11am.

We noticed that some patients were booking appointments for the afternoon, feeling better during the day and not cancelling their appointment.  This also enable those, who are unable to contact us early, to be offered an afternoon appointment.  Some patients also work shifts, this also gives them flexibility to book appointments.

Time to learn - The first Tuesday of every month except after bank holidays.

Staff Training Closures

Why do we close?

Doctors, Nurses and Allied Clinicians have training sessions organised by the Clinical Commissioning Group.  The time is spent reinforcing and continued improvement of their roles.  Updates and experiences are shared from practice to practice along with Community Services and Social Care.

It also gives us the opportunity to undertake mandatory training, such as CPR and Child and Adult Safeguarding, along with confidentiality and infection control.

Administration staff also continued training the same as the clinicians.

All staff are required to attend these meetings to meet current NHS guidelines.

If you need help during this time the CCG have commissioned the 111 service to cover this important time of training for practices in the area.
